Welcome to our Website. Greetings! As Interim Pastor of Toledo Mennonite, I count it a joy in extending you an invitation to both check out our website but more importantly, to join us for worship and community life! My first (almost) six months here have highlighted many things about “us.” We (TMC, as we fondly like to refer to ourselves) are a congregation in transition, which means for us we will soon be starting an active search for an established pastor. Rather then being a “lull’ in congregational life, it is a challenging and invigorating time to be TMC. We are actively seeking to better understand how we can be witness to the fuller implementation of what Christ may desire to work in us as participants in TMC’s “next chapter.” While our search and installation of an established pastor are important to us to give us pastoral leadership, we as TMC want to grasp the “bigger picture” of Christ in our lives and congregation; for in doing so we can better do the work “of the body” and our incoming pastor can better and more easily give us leadership.
So…please come, join us and become involved in helping to form the next chapter of the rest of our lives together. While eternity awaits us we are moving towards it, in a uniquely diverse togetherness, in God’s grace, through His Spirit, one step at a time! …AND, a place is waiting for YOU, here at TMC… WELCOME!!
